SERVO HORN TO
BRACKET
MOUNTING POSITIONS
while assembling the
ROBONOVA-1
===============================================
Hear is a little help for getting those servo horns lined up with the correct bracket holes. The arms don't seem to be as much of an issue as the legs. This is mainly because the manual is unclear at times, and totally incorrect at others. It is unclear how Hitec is going to revise their manual, so I will refrain from using the servo numbers (the little numbered stickers), and just explain their positions as best I can. If this proves not to be enough, please feel free to contact me, and I will do my best to help.

Here you can see the arms are pretty easy. The brackets all
align with number "1" on the servo horn. Take note that in reference to the
picture (above), the servo lead wires for each servo are
pointed out away from the torso, and wrap around to the underside. The
drive horn (numbered, and does not spin freely) on each
servo points upward.
===============================================
The manual is not quite correct when using it as
reference to assemble the legs. When choosing the correct servo to mount
onto a bracket - just remember the servo lead wires on each servo will also point
outward away from the leg. If the Robonova is standing, facing you, so to will
each servo lead before wrapping around to the outside.

As you can see in the picture, the reference numbers are much different when
comparing the right to the left leg. Each servo's drive horn
(numbered, and does not spin freely) points inward toward the opposing
leg. In the picture (above), each number indicates
the top-most screw (as though the Robonova was standing upright).
